Creamy Tofu Sisig Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Tofu
  • Diced White Onions
  • Diced Green/Red Bell Pepper
  • 5 tbsp mayonaise
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • salt & pepper
  • oil for frying
  • butter
  • scallions (optional)

Procedure:

  1. Deep dry the tofu
  2. Don’t overcook because it will get toasted from inside out
    It should be brownish on the edges while white on the middle part
  3. On different pan (or sizzling plate), add 1 tbsp oil & 2 tbsp butter
  4. Saute onions and bell pepper for 30-60 seconds
  5. Add the sauce mixture (mayo, oyster sauce, water, salt & pepper)
  6. Toss the fried tofu
