Review: Vicks Baby Rub

I grew up in a generation when mothers used Vicks Vapor Rub to relieve cold and flu. This product is a must-have in our home. I can attest to how it was very effective for me (as a child). However, the Vicks Vapor Rub is not recommended for babies. Sometimes, I feel helpless when my baby gets sick and I wanted to give her the same relief that I’ve experienced. That’s why I’m glad I found Vicks Baby Rub in Mercury Drug Store!

IN THIS BLOG POST, I’LL BE SHARING MY THOUGHTS ABOUT VICKS BABY RUB

MY EXPERIENCE

I got this product from Mercury Drugstore and it’s around Php 95.00 for 20g. I first tested the product on myself and I noticed that it wasn’t as strong as the Vicks Vaporub. It has this mild scent of Lavender and Rosemary. I find it very soothing and relaxing.

I also consulted with Audrey’s pediatrician, if this is safe to use and she said YES. So whenever Audrey is feeling a little under the weather, I put a little on her chest and back and it was instant relief for her. Sometimes I also use this to relieve the itchness from insect bites.

For a year of using this, I didn’t find it harmful at all.

Will I recommend this product?

Yes! This is one of the products that moms should definitely try. It works wonders for me and I hope it will be for you too. But just for precautionary measures, please always consult with your pedia before testing or trying any products on your baby.
