Audrey’s baby spa experience at Little Splash Baby Spa

When I was pregnant, baby hydrotherapy has been making rounds in social media and I wanted Audrey to experience that. Sadly, it wasn’t available in the Philippines at that time. I am willing to book a trip to Singapore so Audrey can try the baby spa.

It may raise an eyebrow to some because for them, babies don’t need it. But I don’t mind. I’m a modern parent. I know babies can get stressed too! It’s difficult for them to adjust to their new environment plus their tiny body is growing rapidly. And just like an adult, they may need some spa time as well.

That is why I am super excited to hear that Little Splash Baby (LSB) is finally open!

This is the first-ever baby spa in the Philippines. Nami Elmaga, a mom of 2 (2-year-old and 5 months old baby), opened the LSB last May 19 and since then, it has brought a distinct enjoyment to parents and their babies.

Initially, she was planning to put up a spa for adults but her friend suggested that baby spa is trendy now and is getting more popular abroad. She made her research and went to Malaysia to experience it firsthand. The rest they say is history.

Our Experience

The location is accessible. We booked through Grab just by searching for “Little Splash Baby Spa”.

They asked me to fill out a form (contact details, health information, etc.) then their caregiver checks Audrey’s temperature.

They gave us a few minutes to settle down. Audrey drank her milk then she rests for a while.

They undressed her and changer her nappies to a swimming diaper.

I checked the water temperature.

After giving the go signal, they put in the head floaties to Audrey.

The caregiver slowly dipped her into the water.

Audrey is not in the mood probably because she is supposed to be napping that time.

After a few minutes, we removed her from the water. They removed the swimming diaper and we have dried her with a towel.

Audrey rested again. Nami tried to build rapport with Audrey.

When she gained Audrey’s trust, she carried her and proceed with baby massage.

They used coconut oil because of its many health benefits.

Once the massage is done, Audrey wore a bathrobe and she enjoyed it so much.

She poses like an endorser.

She also played with her friends, Inarah and Sasha.
