Explore Isdaan Floating Restaurant in Gerona, Tarlac

Whenever we visit my father’s hometown in Paniqui, Tarlac we always stop by Isdaan Floating Restaurant ever since it opened in 2005.

One of the most unique dining experiences you’ll find is at the Isdaan Floating Restaurant in Tarlac. Some people compare it to Thailand’s famous floating markets, but the Isdaan Floating Restaurant is actually a homegrown concept, brought to life by Mr. Rod Ongpauco of Barrio Fiesta

As we entered Isdaan, we knew we were in for a one-of-a-kind dining experience — floating bamboo huts in the middle of a wide pond. The crew welcomed us with garlands. They put life vests on our kids because the pond is 6-9 feet deep.

Since we arrived during lunch time, we are a bit hungry. There weren’t many people during our visit so our order arrived in around 30 minutes. We ordered one of their group meals. It’s a festive Filipino dining experience for us.
