Explore Isdaan Floating Restaurant in Gerona, Tarlac

Whenever we visit my father’s hometown in Paniqui, Tarlac we always stop by Isdaan Floating Restaurant ever since it opened in 2005.

Isdaan Floating Restaurant is a one-of-a-kind restaurant in Tarlac that offers a captivating cultural experience. Some compare it to Thailand’s popular floating market but actually Isdaan Floating Restaurant is a brainchild of Mr. Rod Ongapauco of Barrio Fiesta.

As we stepped into Isdaan, we found ourselves immersed in a unique dining concept on floating bamboo huts in the middle of a sprawling pond.
When we arrived, the crew welcomed us with friendly greetings and garlands. They put life vests on our kids since the pond is 6-9 feet deep.

Since we arrived during lunch time, we are a bit hungry. There weren’t many people during our visit so our order arrived in around 30 minutes. We ordered one of their group meals. It’s a festive Filipino dining experience for us.
