Review: Nimble Babies Travel Cleaning Collection
As someone who has a sensitive skin, I am always looking for natural and plant-based products. Sadly, most of the available products in the supermarket today use harsh chemicals. It is making my skin dry and flaky.
And if you’ve been following me for awhile now, you’d also notice that I’m also using plant-based products on Audrey; whether it’s her bath soap, insect repellent, bottle cleaner, laundry detergent, surface cleaner and so much more. So when I was given the chance to try out Nimble Babies (Travel Cleaning Collection), I was more than willing to give it a try.
AND THEY HAD ME AT MY FIRST USE!
Nimble Babies is a UK brand that was founded in 2014 by Von Sy. He used to work as a chemist for one of the leading consumer products companies. When his niece was born, he was shocked to see that baby products are made with harsh chemicals. That’s when he decided to create plant-based products that are safe for babies.
Today, the brand is finally available in the Philippines through Ms. Candice Fong. As a parent herself, she knows that it is really a struggle to simultaneously

…care for your household
…care for your baby and look after his/her needs (including bathing them, cleaning their bottles etc.)
…look for genuine all-natural products which we can safely use on our baby
Nimble Babies was her answer. Ever since then, their users have attested that their products are safe and efficient. It saved their time from tending the needs of their baby to actually spend a time with them.
You can see all their products here. But on this post I’ll talk about their Travel Cleaning Collection. It comes with 3 products:
- Nimble Milk Buster 60ml
- Nimble Laundry Lover 100ml
- Nimble Sticky Stopper 60 ml
Nimble Milk Buster
BABY BOTTLE CLEANER
Ingredients: Alkyl Polyglucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Gluconate, Citric Acid. Others: Water and Phenoxyethanol.
It may look complicated but those ingredients are derived from sugar, amino acids and coconuts, which are known to be safe cleaning materials. Base on clinical tests, the PH level of this product is as close to water.
How does it work?
- Add water
- Spray 2x
- Brush & Rinse OR shake shake
How long will the bottle last? According to them one bottle will last for two months of regular use. I have a 60ml bottle; I’ll let you know if how long this product will last with me.
How is this different from regular dish washing liquids? This product was developed to detach milk fat and proteins. While regular dish washing liquids are designed to fight food grease. Its natural ingredients also absorbed and get rid of that milk odor; not unlike the regular dish washing liquids that masked the odor with synthetic fragrance.
Will it work with breast milk and formula milk? Nimble Babies claims that this product works on different types of milk. I’ve tested it on my pumped breast milk and formula milk and I got the same result!
Here is Audrey’s used milk bottle. It’s cloudy and has a strong milky smell.
Add 1 oz of water
Spray the Nimble Babies Milk Buster 2x
Brush the bottle. I also sprayed and brushed the teat and bottle cap. Then rinse with water.
Now they’re all set
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
- At first I’m a bit skeptic if this product will work. It does not have any fragrance. It also does not bubble when I was brushing the bottle. But after rinsing it, I was amazed! Audrey’s feeding bottle is squeaky clean again. It does not smell milky too.
- I have used this when we go out. There’s no need to bring dish washing liquid and bottle brush anymore.
Nimble Laundry Lover
NON-BIO CLOTHES DETERGENT
Ingredients: Pareth-7, Podium Olefin Sulfonate, Trisodium Citrate, Glycerol, Potassium Cocoate. Others: Water, Sodium Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate, Sodium Cumene Sulphonate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Carboxymethyl Inulin, Parfum, Ppolyvinylpyrrolidone.
How does it work?
- Pour 1/3 per wash
- Wash’
How long will the bottle last? They claim that it will last up to 25 regular wash.
How much liquid should I put in every wash? 1 cap full for 1 full load.
Good thing Audrey does not heavily poop or pee. She rarely has accidents. Here is a little poop stain on Audrey’s clothes
Together with all her dirty clothes, I load them in the washing machine
Add 2 caps full of Laundry Lover and wash as usual
After washing…
Hang dry

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
- The product has mild powdery fragrant. Right after the laundry, her clothes smells good. And even if her dry clothes are few days old, they still smell good. (Okay, so there is this one all-natural laundry detergent that I had used. It doesn’t have any fragrance at all but after drying her clothes, they started to smell a little moldy.)
- It has successfully removed her little poop stain without any intervention!
Nimble Sticky Stopper
TOY AND SURFACE CLEANER
Ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulphate (coco-based) and Lactic Acid (natural disinfectant from fermented corn). Others: Water
This product contains only 2 main ingredients and both were derived from plant. This can kill 99.99% of bacteria without bleach. Amazing, isn’t it?
How does it work?
- Spray within 5cm
- Wipe & Dry
How is this different from other surface cleaner? It says that it can clean and disinfect at the same time. Most of the surface cleaners available on the market today are not antibacterial, and if it’s anti-bacterial they use harsh chemical like bleach. Check the label if there is benzisothiazolinone or bethylisothiazolinone.
Can this be used on baby’s pacifier? According to them, yes! You just have to rinse it with water before giving it back to them
We have a play mat with mild dirt
I sprayed Nimble Sticky Stopper twice. It formed gentle foam.
I then wiped it with new cotton pads
Look at dirt!
And Voila! It’s clean!
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
- It can quickly clean sticky and greasy residue from any kind of surfaces. I tried to use this on our dining table with sauce splatter and it works great.
- It’s very versatile. I have used this on floors, play mats, high chair, bibs, dining table and toys.
