Our Experience at John Gil's Secret Place

Cavite’s notorious traffic had us expecting a late arrival, and we were right. We even managed to squeeze in a quick grocery stop at Robinsons Dasma for supplies. By the time we finally got to John Gil’s Secret Place, it was already 7:30 PM.

When we finally arrived at this tucked-away spot, we were instantly taken in by its beauty. The peaceful surroundings and lush greenery made the long 5-hour drive from Manila completely worth it. Check-in was a breeze, and after settling in, I got started on dinner while the guys kicked off a drinking session inside the kubo. On day two, Neddiene took care of breakfast while the kids braved the pool, though the water was freezing!

So they washed off and just played inside the tent and teepee hut.

For our lunch, we prepared a samgyupsal feast. This lasted until dinner.
