Best Frozen Yogurts in Metro Manila

Join me on a frosty adventure as we dive into Metro Manila’s most delicious and guilt-free frozen yogurt treats! In this post, I’ve rounded up some of the best froyo spots in the city, serving up creamy and healthy options that you’re going to love. Let’s dig in!

1. Better Than Ice Cream Yogurt

Better Than Ice Cream (BTIC) is a true example of how a family’s passion turned into one of Metro Manila’s beloved frozen yogurt brands.

The story began with Nestor P. Bonoan, a former banker whose life changed dramatically in 1987 after suffering a heart attack and undergoing quadruple bypass surgery. With his new diet restrictions, he had to give up favorites like ice cream and sweets. However, during a trip to the U.S., his daughters discovered frozen yogurt—a healthier alternative that still satisfied their sweet cravings. Inspired by its taste and health benefits, Nestor and his family decided to bring frozen yogurt to the Philippines.

In November 1989, they opened their first BTIC store at Park Square Mall in Makati. Today, you can find BTIC’s frozen yogurt not only in their retail shops but also in groceries and supermarkets all over the country
