The Mind Museum’s Dino Play is now back!
Last October, the Mind Museum kicked off its traveling exhibitions again after years of being on halt due to Covid-19. Coincidentally, we were at the Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons, Pasig City, because of our dental appointment. Audrey was ecstatic when she saw the dinosaur displays.
Dino Play is one of Mind Museum’s traveling exhibitions. It is an interactive show about dinosaurs. Kids (and kids at heart) can enjoy discovering mind-blowing creatures that roamed the planet about 230 million years ago.
Our Experience at The Mind Museum’s Dino Play
After our dental appointment, we just had a quick snack at Sbarro. We arrived at the exhibit around 4:30 pm, just in time for the 5:15 pm timeslot. The entrance is free, but the slots are limited. They allow a maximum of 60 guests per timeslot.
Entrance is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you fall in line, they provide a number card you’ll give the receptionist upon entry.
The following requirements were also implemented:
- Upon entry, each adult guest is required to present a membership badge of Ortigas Community Card.
- Kids should be supervised at all times.
- Guardians should be 18 years old and above.
- Food and drinks are not allowed inside.
- A face mask is mandatory, and everyone should observe proper social distancing.
Here are the available timeslots:
11:00 -12:00
12:15 – 1:15
1:30 – 2:30
2:45 – 3:45
4:00 – 5:00
5:15 – 6:15
6:30-7:30
They clean and sanitize the exhibition after every slot to ensure everyone’s safety.
Here are some activities inside The Mind Museum’s Dino Play
Millions of years ago, the mighty dinosaurs roamed the earth. Their imprints remain as fossils, ancient clues of how they lived. Embark on this adventure and dig deeper into the story of dinosaurs.
The entrance has dino eggs on display where kids can take a photo. There’s also a jeep and a big dino display.
Upon entering, you’ll walk through a pathway with dino footsteps.
Dig fossils in their giant sandbox. They provide a bucket, shovel, and brush.
Identify Dino fossils in their semi-restricted area using a magnifying glass
Enjoy exploring their Dino Sensory Jar.
Know the Dino Family Tree using a giant magnetic board.
Make your Dino fossils using kinetic sands and dino toys.
Explore the Playground/Tower
Wear a dino costume and take a photo on the big forest wall.
Solve Dino puzzles.
