Audrey’s 7th Huntrix Birthday Party at Max’s Scout Tuason

Seven years ago, Audrey came into our lives and changed us forever. I can’t believe she’s now 7 years old! Time really does fly when you’re watching your little one grow.

So here’s the thing about Audrey’s 7th birthday; she initially wanted to go to Disneyland. We were already looking at tickets and planning the whole trip. But then, last minute, she completely changed her mind. This little extrovert of mine decided she wanted something different. She wanted a big party with friends, families, and classmates. This girl lives for bringing people together, and who was I to say no?

We started planning around September 2025, and I’m happy to report it was a success. Actually, let me be honest – this was the biggest party we’ve thrown for her so far. The theme was Huntrix, you know, those Kpop Demon Hunters that all the kids are obsessed with right now. We went with pastel pink and purple for the colors, and it turned out so dreamy.

Let me walk you through all the suppliers we worked with because planning this thing was no joke!

Program Flow

Here’s how we organized Audrey’s 7th birthday party program. We wanted to make sure everything flowed smoothly and that all our guests had a great time from start to finish.

Want to get a copy of her program? Leave a comment below!

9:00 AM – We started early with a pre-birthday photoshoot at the empty venue hall and Max’s outdoor area. We took photos of Audrey solo, with us parents, with both sets of grandparents, with her godparents, and with both families. The photographer also captured the empty venue, souvenirs, all the booths (Potato Corner, Zagu, Stick This, video booth, photo booth, glitter tattoo, face paint), and the food setup.

9:45 AM – The registration table opened for early arrivals.

10:00 AM – We officially opened the venue, food carts, photo booth, video booth, and glitter tattoo station. The host encouraged guests to grab a snack and try out the booths. This was our way of accommodating Filipino time. We gave everyone a chance to arrive and enjoy the activities before the program officially started.

11:00 AM – Audrey’s grand entrance followed by a prayer led by Lola Lourdes.

11:10 AM – 7 Candles Ceremony. Seven special women in Audrey’s life shared messages, lit candles together, and Audrey blew them out. We took a group photo to capture the moment.

11:20 AM – 7 Roses Dance. Seven special men in Audrey’s life took turns dancing with her. Another group photo followed.

11:25 AM – We had two games running simultaneously. Game 1 for kids showed off their Huntrix-themed outfits. The winner got a Best in Costume sash and big plushie, while runners-up received smaller prizes. Game 2 for adults was a trivia game about Audrey – from where she was born to her favorite ice cream flavor and dream car.

11:40 AM – We watched a 3-minute video montage of Audrey’s journey from birth to seven years old played on the TV. Not gonna lie, there were some tears!

11:45 AM – 7 Toys Ceremony. Seven of Audrey’s classmates and friends came up to give their birthday wishes and present their gifts.

11:55 AM – 7 Gifts Ceremony. Another seven friends shared their birthday wishes and gave their gifts to Audrey.

12:05 PM – Audrey blew out her candles, we sang Happy Birthday, and took photos with her. Then it was time for photo ops before lunch, with our event ushers managing the silent queueing system. We reopened the photo booth, video booth, and glitter tattoo station during lunchtime so guests could enjoy these while waiting for food or after eating.

1:05 PM – The magician performed his show, followed by the bubble show. Audrey participated in the last trick, which was so much fun!

1:40 PM – We distributed the customized lunch bag souvenirs to all the kids.

1:50 PM – Tatay Dee Roman gave the closing remarks, thanking everyone for celebrating with us.

2:00 PM – The party officially wrapped up at 2pm, though some guests stayed longer to chat and let the kids play.

Photo and Video: SnapKids Studio

I reached out to Rich Aratea, the photographer who shot Audrey’s 5th birthday. Turns out they have a group now called SnapKids Photography. For this party, we were assigned a different team from their group (Tereon Tulaña & Cody Banayat), but they were just as good.

Inclusions:

  • Professional photographer
  • Professional videographer
  • Pre-birthday shoot coverage
  • Event day coverage

Call time was 9am since we planned to do a short pre-birthday shoot at the venue. They arrived right on time, which was such a relief. We are so happy with how the photos turned out! They captured all the special moments and the kids having fun.

Venue: Max’s Restaurant Scout Tuason

We initially wanted a hotel venue because parking space was our top priority. We needed to accommodate all our guests comfortably, plus we liked the idea of staying in the hotel before and after the event. We did some ocular visits, but honestly, nothing really clicked for us. Budget was also a huge consideration – hotels were costing around at least Php 1,800 per head plus more charges on top of that.

Max’s Scout Tuason Ruby Hall A and B

So we checked out restaurant options instead, and wow, were we surprised! Max’s Scout Tuason has this beautiful venue. Big space, high ceiling…  it was everything we needed. And food wasn’t an issue since we’re already familiar with Max’s menu.

We got the Classic Package for 100 pax at Php 97,900 (plus Php 9,790 per additional 10 pax).

Menu included:

  • Mains: Lumpiang Shanghai, Max’s fried chicken
  • Rice
  • Appetizer: Tofu fries with garlic cream sauce
  • Soup: Cream of mushroom soup
  • Pancit: Pancit Canton
  • Vegetable: Chopseuy
  • Seafood: Sweet and sour fish fillet
  • Dessert: Buko Pandan, Leche Flan
  • Beverage: Pepsi with 1 free refill

For the kids menu, we ordered Set B at Php 289 per pax:

  • Mac and cheese
  • Lumpia Shanghai
  • Chick meatballs with BBQ sauce
  • Choco slice
  • Orange juice

We also ordered the crew meal here at Php 298 per pax (Basic Meal)

Venue inclusions:

  • Free use of venue for 3 hours (room charge for excess hours – for Ruby Hall A and B, the charge is Php 4,000 per hour)
  • Basic room decor
  • Onsite support for food and technical assistance
  • Standard sound system with microphones

We booked Ruby Hall A and B (with stage). It can accommodate up to 200 pax and needs a minimum of Php 120,000 consumables.

  • Full Payment: On the day of the event (cash or card accepted)

Event Stylist, Magician and Glitter Tattoo: The Party Lovers Production Inc.

Party Lovers is the accredited event stylist by Max’s. External stylists are allowed, but if you get Party Lovers, the stylist charge is discounted at Php 7,000. If not accredited, the charge is Php 10,500. We decided to go with Party Lovers to save some money, and honestly, we weren’t disappointed at all!

They have different packages to choose from. We went with the Ariya Package at Php 34,990.

Package inclusions:

  • Backdrop
  • Entrance styling
  • Table decor
  • Magician show
  • 50 pcs cotton candy
  • Glitter tattoo station
  • Photo booth
  • 20 loot bags
  • 20 game prizes
  • 20 name tags
  • 1 piñata
  • 1 gift for the celebrant
  • Free transportation fees within Metro Manila

The event styling was beautiful. It really fits our Kpop demon hunters theme. Our package had minimal event styling, but we were happy with how everything turned out. It felt cohesive and fun.

Ms. Joanna has been very hands-on in assisting us during our planning session. She was there during our ocular visit and answered all our inquiries promptly.

The magician included in the package was top-notch too! The kids absolutely enjoyed the magic show. You could hear them gasping and laughing throughout the performance.

The glitter tattoo and photo booth were also huge hits. The kids lined up multiple times to get different designs, and the photo booth captured so many candid, fun moments.

Rate: Ariya Package – Php 34,990

  • Deposit Required:  Php 5,000
  • Full Payment: A month before the event

Food Booths

We initially wanted to get a coffee booth, but since there weren’t that many options for kids, we decided to check other suppliers. And I’m so glad we did!

Zagu

Zagu is honestly one of the easiest suppliers I’ve worked with. Mr. Marco was very responsive to my inquiries and easy to talk to. This was a hit among the guests. It’s very nostalgic, especially to the millennial parents. A lot of parents actually asked me how I was able to book them!

We got the 1 Premium Package Baby Z Package at Php 16,820.

Flavors we chose:

  • Philippine mango
  • Chocolate
  • Cafe latte

Rate: 1 Premium Baby Z Package – Php 16,820

I found Stick This on Facebook, and they were easy to talk with too. This was another hit among the guests. They loved having a quick snack option.

Potato Corner

Another party favorite, but not mine to work with – Potato Corner. It was difficult to get a hold of them. They’re not very responsive. When I initially inquired through the website, it took weeks before I got a response. After that, they provided a contract. When I settled the deposit, I didn’t get any response for weeks despite my constant follow-ups. I even sent a message on their Facebook page, and that’s the only time I got a response from their party team. When we upgraded from 100 cups to 200 cups, it took weeks again to get a hold of them. The product is great, the kids loved it, but I really hope their party team improves their communication. It added unnecessary stress to the planning process.

Bubble Show and Face Paint: Mahika

Audrey wanted to have a bubble show and face paint, and I found Mahika on Facebook. They arrived on time, which was great. The face paint was a massive hit among the kids – there were long lines throughout the party!

The bubble show was a hit among the kids and kids at heart. Even the adults enjoyed getting inside the bubble. It was such a fun, interactive experience that everyone could enjoy together.

Coordinator: Your Dream Events by Gel

Given how elaborate we wanted her birthday to be, it was a no-brainer to get an on-the-day coordinator. We also wanted to actually enjoy the birthday, entertain the guests, and not be stressed managing all the logistics.

I found Gel on Facebook. She was very responsive, very organized, and she constantly reminded me about things on the pending list. She sees the things we might have missed. She asks the right questions about every detail, which really helped us stay on track.

We had one onsite meeting and ocular visit, and she was very hands-on throughout. On the event date, her team came on time and accommodated my requests to pick up items from our hotel room and bring them to the venue. She was very hands-on during the event day, managing everything smoothly so we could just focus on celebrating with Audrey and our guests.

Souvenir: Joyous Events & Souvenirs

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to give as souvenirs for kids. I went back and forth on some ideas but eventually settled on lunch bags. There weren’t that many suppliers of customized lunch bags, and given our timeline, we only had a few options. I’m glad I found Joyous Events & Souvenirs. Production time is around 20 days, and given it was Christmas season too, I was worried about timing. But they delivered! Happy with the quality of the product. They’re very responsive too.

Inclusions:

  • Customized kiddie bags
  • Production time: approximately 20 days

Rate: Php 125 per piece

Payment Mode:

  • Deposit Required: 50%
  • Full Payment: Upon delivery

Dress: Spinkiewear

This was non-negotiable for me. I wanted her to wear a pretty dainty gown before she changed to her Huntrix costume. Spinkiewear makes magical, high-quality, princess-themed children’s dresses. They use soft tulle and sparkle fabrics, featuring bows, gems, and layers for twirling. They’re popular for special occasions like birthdays and photos, and I can see why – the design and matching accessories are gorgeous!

We got the Anna Tutu Long Dress. It’s inspired by Anna and her brave, fearless spirit! It comes in a magical blend of pink, navy, and magenta to create a deep purple hue. It features a gorgeous ruffled bodice with a dazzling arrangement of sparkly gems, a long and lush tutu skirt, and flowing cape for that princess feel.

Pre-Birthday Shoot: One Hello Studio

We wanted a simple pre-birthday photoshoot. I saw One Hello Studio Q Ave. Scout Borromeo on one of her friend’s photos and it looked so good! Very affordable too!

We inquired and asked about their availability. They had availability that day. We arrived 30 minutes ahead of our scheduled time, and since the client who was supposed to be there didn’t arrive, we were able to shoot immediately. The photographer is kid-friendly. She didn’t intimidate Audrey, and Audrey had fun during the shoot. We love the results too!

Invitation: Paperjam Designs and Prints

I used to DIY Audrey’s invitations, but since I didn’t have time to DIY anymore, I left it to the experts. Honestly, there are so many invitation suppliers, and it was overwhelming for me. So I did a reverse search – I posted in a Facebook group and asked suppliers to share their sample works. When I saw Jam’s work, I knew I found the one. She’s easy to work with, very responsive, and accommodated my revision requests. I love how the invitation turned out!

Product: Folded invitation with inner page

Hotel: Privato Hotel, Quezon City

For convenience, we booked Privato Hotel as our prep hotel. Privato Hotel is conveniently located just across Max’s Scout Tuason. We got the Deluxe King room. We allotted one hour of extra time before the actual event time to give way to Filipino time, you know how it is! During that hour, our guests enjoyed the booths like photo, video, glitter tattoo, and face paint. They also got to eat at the food booths. It was a smart move because people arrived at different times, and everyone got to experience everything without feeling rushed.

Looking back at Audrey’s 7th birthday party, I’m so grateful we pulled it off. Yes, it was a lot of work. Yes, there were some bumps along the way. But seeing Audrey’s face light up, watching her run around with her friends, and hearing all the guests say they had such a great time… that made it all worth it.

This little girl wanted a big celebration, and we gave her exactly that. Happy 7th birthday, Audrey! Here’s to many more celebrations to come.
