Stay Salty Beach House in Liwliwa Zambales Review

Last February, we found ourselves driving back to Zambales. This time with family in tow. Dee offered to drive from Metro Manila, so we were really looking forward to this weekend. We were seven adults and two kids. If you’ve tried booking a place in Zambales last minute, you’ll know how fast everything gets filled up.

If you’re looking for accommodation options in Liwliwa Zambales,

Luckily, I found Stay Salty Beach House. It checked all the boxes: beachfront, two aircon rooms, private, with kitchen, parking, and strong Wi-Fi. Plus, they’re responsive and booking was straightforward through Messenger.

Rates and Inclusions

They gave us these rates when I inquired:
  • Overnight rate (2 PM to 12 NN): P8,000* for 12 pax
  • Extra pax: P300/head
  • Environmental fee: P50/head
  • Parking: P200/car
The house includes two air-conditioned rooms, two bathrooms, a spacious balcony, basic cookware, and a gas range. They don’t have a fridge, but they’ll lend you a cooler. You can buy ice from the small store near the parking lot.

Our Experience at Stay Salty Beach House

We arrived really late, around 11 PM. Good thing they gave us the caretaker’s number before the trip. It helped us coordinate easily on the day itself. The walk from the parking to the house was around 5 minutes. The street was sandy and dark, and the dogs roaming nearby made us a little nervous, but they didn’t really bother us.

The place has this rustic and lowkey feel. It’s not fancy, but it has everything you need. The rooms were clean and cool, and the mattresses could fit our whole group comfortably. I slept in the balcony that night. It was breezy and so peaceful. I loved it.

They have two bathrooms, and both were clean. No weird smells, which is always a win for beach resorts like this. In the morning, I realized just how close the house was to the shore. You literally just step out and you’re there. The kids spent the whole morning playing by the beach while we did a quick run to San Felipe Public Market for supplies.
