Spending the night at the Narra Cabin 1, Silang, Cavite

My brother-in-law got married recently, and they booked the entire Narra Cabin property for the family to stay in. The venue was in Silang, Cavite, so it made sense to find a place nearby. We stayed in Narra Cabin 1, and I have to say, it was one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had in a while.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly staycation near Tagaytay or a quiet getaway where you can actually rest, this place is worth considering. It’s just 600 meters from Tagaytay so you get the cool weather without the crowds. Here’s what we experienced during our stay.

About Narra Cabin 1

Narra Cabin 1 is part of a 2,500-square-meter gated estate shared with two other cabins. The whole property is CCTV-secured for safety, and there’s outdoor common parking for up to four vehicles allotted for Cabin 1. It felt private even though other cabins were nearby.

The cabin is designed for up to 10 guests, so it’s great for family gatherings or group trips. What I liked most? It’s quiet. No noise from the street. The gush of wind through the trees and the rain tapping on the roof were the only things we heard. It was calming.

Inclusion

The cabin came with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Here’s what you can expect:

  • A private heated pool and heated jacuzzi. Yes, heated. We visited in the afternoon, and it rained later that evening. The warm water felt good after a long day.
  • Comfortable living and dining areas. The space felt homey and had enough seating for everyone.
  • A fully equipped kitchen. We didn’t cook during our stay, but if you prefer preparing your own meals, the kitchen has everything you need.
  • Cozy bedrooms. The beds were soft, the aircon worked well, and we all slept soundly.
  • Outdoor spaces. There are lounging areas where you can sit, talk, or just enjoy the fresh air.

Our Experience at Narra Cabin 1

We arrived around 5 in the afternoon. There was ample parking space right near the cabin, so unloading our bags was easy. Check-in was smooth, and the caretaker was helpful in showing us around.

The glass rooftop was a highlight for us. We got to watch the rain in the late afternoon from inside the cabin. That night, we fell asleep to the sound of raindrops hitting the glass. It was such a nice experience. We wanted to see the stars, but the rain didn’t let up. Maybe next time.

The cabin felt isolated in the best way. No traffic noise. No dogs barking. If you’re tired of city noise and need to unwind, this is it.

As for the heated pool and jacuzzi, they were clean and well-maintained. The water temperature was just right. Even with the cool Tagaytay weather, swimming felt comfortable.
