If there’s one OG theme park in the Philippines, it’s Enchanted Kingdom. They recently celebrated their 30th anniversary since opening in October 1995. I’ve been here countless times, and honestly, there’s no theme park in Laguna that’s as big or as nostalgic as this one.
Enchanted Kingdom is known as the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines. It’s a place I grew up visiting, and now I get to bring Audrey here too. The rides may not have changed much over the years, but the experience still feels special.
About Enchanted Kingdom
Enchanted Kingdom (EK) is located in Santa Rosa, Laguna. It was established on October 19, 1995, by Mario and Cynthia Mamon. The park spans 25 hectares and features seven themed zones with over 30 attractions. From classic rides like the Grand Carousel to adrenaline-pumping ones like the Space Shuttle, there’s something here for all ages.
It’s the kind of place that brings back memories. Walking through the park felt nostalgic. I felt like I was my younger self again, even if not much has changed in terms of new rides.
Our Experience at Enchanted Kingdom
The park opens at 11:00 AM, which I think is a little late. By that time, it’s already hot outside. I wish they’d adjust their opening time to at least 9:00 AM so families with kids can enjoy the cooler morning hours.
We arrived around 11:30 AM. There was a line to get tickets, but it was decent and moving. We were surprised to learn that my brother got to enter for free because it was his birth month. Yes, Enchanted Kingdom has a birthday promo where the celebrant gets a FREE Regular Day Pass. Companions also get a 10% discount on their tickets. You can check the details here: Enchanting Birthday Blowout 2026.
Audrey got a discounted Junior Day Pass for Php 900. They also have multiple promos you can choose from on their website.
The theme park felt familiar. It’s the same place I remember from years ago. While there weren’t many new rides added, the classics are still fun. The kids loved it, and that’s what mattered.

Tips!!!
- Arrive early. Even though the park opens at 11:00 AM, try to get there as soon as it opens so you can beat the heat and the crowds.
- Check for promos before buying tickets. The birthday promo alone can save your group a lot of money.
- Bring sunblock and a hat. The park is mostly outdoors, and it can get hot in the afternoon.
- Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be walking a lot.
- Plan your rides. If you’re with kids, check the height restrictions so you know which rides they can go on.
- Bring stroller.
- Bring extra cash for gated attractions and food. The day pass doesn’t cover everything, so budget accordingly.
