Puzzle Mansion Tagaytay

If you’re looking for a short side trip in Tagaytay, Puzzle Mansion is an easy choice. It’s a small museum tucked inside a one-hectare property that once served as a family rest house. Today, it’s home to the Guinness-certified largest jigsaw puzzle collection in the world from 2012 to 2017.

The museum was started by Georgina Gil-Lacuna, a passionate puzzle collector who turned her private collection into a public display. The entrance fee is ₱100 per person, and it’s open to all ages.

When we visited, we were welcomed by a friendly staff member who served as our guide. Every group gets a short tour. They explained the history of the puzzles and pointed out the more notable pieces in the collection. Some were huge, some were 3D, and others were so detailed we had to take a second look.

If you’re into puzzles, this place is a must-see. It’s fun, a bit nerdy, and oddly satisfying. There are puzzles based on art, movies, maps, and pop culture references. You’ll find classic framed ones and even record-breakers that took months to finish.

But I’ll be honest—if you’re not a puzzle person, it can feel a little repetitive. Some displays are packed too tightly. The collection is massive, but the space feels small for it. Still, you can’t help but admire the dedication that went into completing every single piece on the wall.

The souvenir shop upstairs sells puzzles and other collectibles. Audrey was tempted to get a small set, and I actually considered buying one too.

It’s not a big museum, so don’t expect to spend hours here. We were done in about 30 to 40 minutes. Still, it was a fun, light activity that added something different to our usual Tagaytay routines.

If you’re already in the area and looking for a quick stop, Puzzle Mansion Tagaytay is worth checking out—especially if you love a good challenge in tiny cardboard pieces.
