Guide to Ugbo Street Food

When the sun sets, Ugbo Street Food comes alive. The long, narrow stretch of Velasquez in Tondo, Manila, is lined with food carts and stalls offering street foods like skewers, takoyaki, shawarma, and k-street foods. Ugbo Street Food is undoubtedly one of the most exciting night markets in Manila.

How to get to Ugbo, Tondo?

VIA COMMUTE
From Divisoria

Go to Jollibee, Padre Rada cor Juan Luna St. From there, ride a jeep going to Velasquez. Tell the driver to drop you off in Ugbo.

Where to park? Parking is a little bit of a challenge in the area since the streets are narrow and houses are densely packed. However, there is SM Deca Mall near the area which has FREE open parking. (Take note that you need to get your car before 9PM to prevent clamping.)

What methods of payment are accepted?

  • Cash –  All stores accept cash but some don’t have change for bigger bill (Php 500/Php 1,000)
  • GCash – Some stores accept GCash transfers.
