Review: Jollibee Chick’nwich

Jollibee is a homegrown fast-food giant in the Philippines that recently introduced its newest product – Jollibee Chick’nwich.

I wanted to try the new Jollibee Chick’nwich to see what the hype is all about.

I ordered one from Grab Food Ph and here's my verdict:

The Jollibee Chick’nwich is made from deep-fried “crispylicious, juicylicious, gravylicious” chicken breast. It’s more premium than Jollibee’s usual burgers and champs because they used toasted brioche bun here. The sandwich has light honey mustard dressing and three pickle slices.

Price:

Php 143 for ala carte
Php 193 for a meal (with fries and drink)

How to order?

This is available at Jollibee’s Mega Manila stores only through the Jollibee App ios, Jollibee App Playstore, JollibeeDelivery.com, #87000, GrabFood, Foodpanda, and in-store.

Verdict

Foodie Rating:
4/5

The chicken sandwich is just like what I expected- it’s juicy and crispy! I also liked that it is not spiced which is suited for Filipino taste buds. However, this is something that I can only eat occasionally. For me, it is very savory and lacks balance. It could have been better if there are additional vegetables like lettuce and tomato.
