Review: Morrison Stretchmarks Collagen Body Cream

One of the realities that we need to face post-partum is STRETCH MARKS! Stretch marks appear on our skin when our skin gets stretched. They are tiny tears in the supporting layers of tissues under our skin. Some wear it proud and loud, while others like to minimize it.

When I was still pregnant, my OB Doctor told me that stretch marks are genetic. If my mother had them, I will most probably have them too. I can lessen its impact by:

    • Moisturize my belly after bath. This is the best time for any cream to have a deeper penetration on ourskin.
    • Nourish from the inside by eating healthier food options like fruits and vegetables and by drinking A LOT of water.
    • Keep an eye on my weight gain.

My stretch marks appeared postpartum. This made me look for ways to minimize it. Many products on the market promise to lessen the stretch marks but they are all expensive.

Good thing, I found a new product with the same promise at a more affordable price. This is the Morrison Stretch Mark Collagen Body Cream. I found them at the Momzilla fair.

Priced at Php 305 per bottle, I asked myself – “How effective is Morrison Stretch Mark Collagen Body Cream?”

Check out my experience below.

There are so many skin care products available in the market but only a few deliver results. What’s more, those that do work, not only contain unsafe ingredients but will usually also cost you a fortune.

The goal of Morrison® is straightforward: we are committed to providing you with products that deliver results and are perfectly kind to your skin.

All Morrison® products are paraben-free, dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic. Each product has been subjected to rigorous research and tests and has been given the seal of approval by skin experts. You can count on it.

Morrison Stretch Mark Collagen Body Cream is collagen-infused which makes the skin firmer. It also has Nutrisilk Moisture which:

    • Helps fade unwanted marks
    • Prevents the appearance of further stretch marks
    • Moisturizes skin for improved elasticity and suppleness

NUTRISILK MOISTURE™ is a unique formulation infused with grapeseed, shea butter and hydrolyzed collagen, which together effectively helps minimize, prevent and fade stretch marks.

Spread all over the body, targetting areas where stretch marks appear more often (tummy, hips & thighs). For best results, use thrice daily.

For external use only. If irritation occurs after use, discontinue use. If irritation occurs, consult a doctor.

Purified Water, Mineral Oil, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Triethanolamine, Glyceryl, Monostearate, Propylene Glycol, Shea Butter, Ethylene Di-Amine Tetra Acetic Acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Fragrance Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Acnibio.

Available at Mercury Drug, PCX, BeautyMNL, Landmark, Lazada, & Shopee.

My Experience

I discovered the product last May. However, my progress is slower than expected because I sometimes forget to apply after bath. The instructions said that for best result, I need to apply it thrice a day. However, I can only do it once a day.

By the way, Ms. Sheena of Morrison sent another 3 bottles to me. 🙂

It depends on the product. Some products have ingredients that aren’t safe for pregnant women. Some don’t. It’s best to consult with your Ob-gyne when using products if you are pregnant. 🙂
